Grant Werbeck is an experienced leader with a demonstrated history of over 17 years working in the commercial real estate industry. Primary responsibilities at Ally Capital Group (ACG) include oversight of company operations, investment strategy and business plan execution.
Before joining ACG in January 2022, Mr. Werbeck served as CFO at a regional boutique real estate investment group in Los Angeles. Prior to that, he served as Executive Director and the West regional financial head of a $15B portfolio at J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Real Estate Americas. Earlier in his career, he served as an audit associate with Ernst & Young in New York.
Throughout his career, Mr. Werbeck has been involved in acquisition due diligence, fund structuring, project capitalization, investor relations, and performance attribution analysis across all real estate product types. His investment experience ranges across all risk spectrums from stabilized core to ground up development. He holds a B.S. in Accounting and Marketing from Fairfield University.
